The Magic of Smyrna

Hey guys,
wanted to share with you some impressions of Izmir, where my guy and I stayed for two days in late October!
This city (ancient name Smyrna) totally got me with its extreme vibrancy over Istanbul and the more than ancient sites throughout the city!
We actually only had one full day for our discovery tour as we spent the days before at a tiny Anatolian village where the father of my boyfriend grew up!
I seriously never felt more welcome and comfortable ever in my life than in that village!
However, also Izmir is a true blast and some day in your life you should definitely come visit!

As we only had this one full day we decided to walk around, inhale the spirit of the city and visit some important sites such as the Saat Kulesi (Clock Tower), Kemeralti Bazar, the Agora, Asansör, Kordon etc...

If you have any questions concerning a stay, please, don't hesitate to ask! As always I would be more than happy to answer!
I might not know about cute restaurants and shopping sites, but my guy and I stayed at Ibis Alcancak which was right in the city and within walking distance of most sites!

  5. Schon wieder so tolle Bilder!

      LG Belinda
