Savoir-Vivre with my iPhone

Hey guys,
I am in Istanbul for more than one week already and today you'll get the first true impressions of this wonderful city.
Taken with my iPhone as I forgot to bring my camera quite some times - stupid me!
Since the weather is so nice though, I guess you don't really see the minor quality of the iPhone camera, do you?

Absolutes Must-Have jedoch eines jeden Istanbul-Trips!).

Yesterday was a day full of sightseeing, but also just feeling the vibe of the city.
Started with a mind-blowing breakfast in Rumelihisarüstü and a stroll along Bosphorus til Besiktas afterwards.
Therefrom we took a ferry for a Bosphorus Tour that let us stunned about the impressive buildings and mansions along the banks between Europa and Asia.
Trust me, this tour is an absolute must-have on the agenda of every Istanbul traveler!

Beim Frühstück habe ich sogar mein eigenes Brot bekommen!! Der Rechtschreibfehler wird dezent ignoriert :-D!

I got my very own bread for breakfast!! Don't mind the little mistake :-D!

After a long and delicious breakfast this morning we went to Taksim for a stroll over the Istiklal caddesi (klick to Travel Guide).

We "discovered" the shopping mall 'Demirören Istiklal' where we felt quite homey, thanks to Tchibo and Deichmann.
I have to say though, as much as I love strolling over Istiklal, I prefer the streets offsidely as they are more quiet.
Best way just sitting down, eat, drink a cup of tea and observe the million interesting people passing by!

I Was Wearing

Cardigan - H&M (last seen here and here)
Shirt - Ernsting's Family
Faux Leather Pants - H&M (old and already ripped at my knees - did it not on purpose)
Flip-Flops - Ipanema (mine are already more than 5 years old)
Jewelry - Ernsting's Family

Superbe, hein?

Oh my gosh! We found this super duper tea bag at Pasabahce in Istinye Park and it's made from silicone and reusable. How awesome is that?
