'What the f*#ck should I make for dinner?'

Wahre Bewunderung meinerseits)! Schnell soll es also gehen, und was ist das schnellste und leckerste Gericht der Welt? Richtig! Nudeln mit Pesto! Einfach Nudeln kochen, ready-made Pesto drauf, fertig!

500 g Spaghetti
ca. 100 g Mandeln oder Mandelkerne
1 Knoblauchzehe
4 große Hand voll frische Basilikumblätter
150 g frisch geriebener Pecorino oder Parmesan
Olivenöl
600 g Tomaten

Since I'm a student I (and my boyfriend of course) constantly ask myself (ourselves) the question: 'What the f*#ck should I (we) make for dinner?'.
I'm pretty sure you know that certain situation when you're coming home late and the least thing you're thinking about is making something super fancy for dinner (...gosh, how do the mothers (and fathers!!) out there manage that? True admiration over here)! So it has to be fast and simple  and what is the fast and easiest and most delicious dish in the whole entire world? Right! Pasta and Pesto! Just boil the pasta, pour ready-made pesto over it, done! But, well... you can really not eat that every day, can you?  Even if you're as pesto addicted as me! So attention! Here is an super easy and super, super yummy (and more healthy anyway) pesto that you can all make by yourself, while the pasta is already boiling!

You'll need:

500 g Spaghetti
ca. 100 g Almonds
1 Garlic Clove
4 full Hands of fresh Basil Leaves
150 g freshly grinded Pecorino or Parmesan
Olive Oil
600 g Tomatoes

Erster Schritt

First Step

- heat almonds in a pan and crush them either with a mortar or a blender
- it should become a chunky powder (can I say that in English, btw?) that you now put in a big bowl
- also grind garlic and basil leaves with the mortar or blender and mix it under the almond powder
- stir in grinded pecorino or parmesan, quite some olive oil (about 4 - 5 table spoons) and spice it with salt and pepper

Zweiter Schritt

- Tomaten vierteln und in die Schüssel geben

Second Step

- quarter tomatoes and also put them into the bowl

Dritter Schritt

- Masse kräftig mit der Hand durchkneten

Third Step

- thoroughly knead the mass

Vierter Schritt

Fourth Step

-  put in some more olive oil and stir the pesto until smooth
- if necessary spice it with a little more salt and pepper

Fünfter Schritt

- Spaghetti al dente kochen, abgießen, mit Pesto vermischen - FERTIG!

Fifth Step

- boil spaghetti until al dente, pour off water, mix with pesto - DONE!
